Identity and graphics for a GBH News YouTube series
After over 12 years of answering audience questions about every topic under the sun, GBH News’ The Curiosity Desk had established itself as a successful YouTube series but lacked a cohesive brand identity.
GBH Creative was tasked with developing an identity for The Curiosity Desk that reflected the show’s lighthearted, exploratory energy and the host’s charismatic personality. As the designer on this project, I created the logo, visual system, and graphic elements for use in videos. In the logo and graphics, dots travel along meandering lines like curious trains of thought. Cut paper elements allow for quirky juxtapositions in collages and give the brand a freeform, creative feeling.
