When Congress cut funding to public media in 2025, GBH launched a three-year campaign to raise $225 million and secure its future.
From a design and marketing perspective, the campaign needed to be edgy and direct, reflecting the intensity of the moment and grabbing viewers’ attention. The campaign launched with a provocative tagline, “Congress told us, ‘Go Fund Yourself’” and appealed directly to viewers with the additional message, “Love it? Fund it.”
I created the look for this campaign and designed a wide variety of assets across print and digital media. The campaign design uses stark white type on a dark background and a bold, repeated crop of the GBH logo. The repeated logo crop gives a sense of depth and forward motion, reflecting GBH’s intent to remain a strong media force long into the future.
